Controversial Australian lawmaker 'egged' after comments on New Zealand mass shooting

Australian police said they were investigating after a teenager smashed an egg on a controversial right-wing lawmaker who had blamed New Zealand's mass mosque shootings on the country's immigration program.

One Arrest Made In New Zealand Mass Shooting
CNN reports that a man in his late 20s has been charged with murder in connection to the mass shooting in two New Zealand mosques on Friday. The unprecedented attack has left at least 49 people dead and more than 20 injured. New Zealand Police Commissioner Mike Bush said the man was expected to appear in a Christchurch, New Zealand court on Saturday morning. Three other people, two men, and a woman have also been taken into custody.
