The firm, which specializes in handling the tax affairs of actors and other creatives in London, New York and California, has issued a detailed guide on the reliefs available for employed individuals to help deal with the coronavirus pandemic.

Many employed individuals, the government predicts 95%, will now have much needed support to be able to provide for their families during the coronavirus pandemic.

Individuals can claim up to £2,500 per month through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme through their employers.

Coronavirus Relief If You Are Employed In The UK explains in detail who can claim, what the conditions are and how much you will receive and when.

The guide also contains the additional information on the other support available to employed individuals, and what to do if you are managing your household bills and need support.

Alistair Bambridge, partner at Bambridge Accountants, explains: “We are working around the clock to ensure that we are keeping our employed and self-employed clients up to date with the latest news on what is to come over the upcoming days, weeks and even months.

“The reliefs crucially help people stay in their homes by providing mortgage holidays and stopping rental evictions for 3 months.

“For everyone now the focus is families and loved ones. The coronavirus employment reliefs will help many families through this period to deal with the financial concerns.

“There are many employed individuals who are not covered by the job rentention scheme and we hope that the government is in discussions to provide support for those groups of people and also a second round of support for people whose financial situation becomes worse as the pandemic continues.
