Streaker Leads Security on Wild Goose Chase at Cricket World Cup
A streaker energized the crowd during England’s Cricket World Cup clash with New Zealand at the Emirates Riverside cricket ground in Chester-le-Street, England, on Wednesday, July 4. Security members at the Durham stadium were led on a hot pursuit when a fan took to the field while New Zealand were struggling at 146 for six in the 34th over. Footage of the incident posted to Twitter shows a naked man successfully evading multiple members of security as he jogs around the cricket grounds. The man is eventually captured by security personnel. England qualified for the Cricket World Cup semi-finals with a 119 wicket win over New Zealand. England will face either India or Australia at Edgbaston next Thursday, July 11. Credit: @Ajk316 via Storyful
