The remains were found in a ravine behind the property Wednesday afternoon, just hours after police resumed digging in the area for the first time in about five months, Det.

Sgt.

Hank Idsinga said.

"We found the remains there very quickly," Idsinga told reporters Thursday.

"It was a bit of a surprise." The remains have been sent for testing and identification, he added.
