Bill Weld To Challenge Trump In 2020

Reuters reports that on Friday, Bill Weld, the former Republican governor of Massachusetts, is running for President.

Weld said he will challenge U.S. President Donald Trump for their party’s presidential nomination in 2020.

The former Governor said the country was in “grave peril.” Weld has little name recognition.

He will have to raise vast sums of money for his campaign.

Opinion polls have consistently found Republican voters overwhelmingly support Trump’s re-election.
