Napa River Swells Amid Heavy Rain in California

Forecasters issued a flood warning for the Napa River in California on Wednesday, February 27, after projecting its water level would rise 2.4 feet.

Footage from Napa shows the river overflowing its banks and flooding a walkway.

Heavy rain raised the river’s level and prompted flood warnings, road closures, and evacuations throughout northern California, according to the local media.

Reports on Wednesday indicated the Napa River was expected to rise several more inches before cresting.
