If British Prime Minister Theresa May is looking for some Dutch courage this week she might want to head to this Paris pub, The Cricketer where a "Brexit" lager is proving a hit.

Described as light but hoppy, the beer is one of dozens across the world to have been inspired by the 2016 referendum.

Owners of the English pub near Saint Lazare station say the name has raised eyebrows as some 30 percent of the customers are British and mostly opposed the country's exit from the EU.

I mean, Brexit is terrible but at least the beer is good." (SOUNDBITE) (English) BRITISH ENGINEER LIVING IN FRANCE, STEVE CRANE, SAYING: "I must admit when I saw the name 'Brexit' -- I do try and avoid anything to do with Brexit because for me it's a disaster." This week British lawmakers will vote on the withdrawal agreement but the leaders of key Brexit factions have signalled they will oppose it without further concessions from the EU.

Talks between London and Brussels have gone flat of late And Theresa May will likely find a glass half full approach this week, something of a struggle.
