ROUGH CUT.

NO REPORTER NARRATION.

Activists wearing giant masks with faces of British Prime Minister Theresa May and German Chancellor Angela Merkel walked around the European institutions in Brussels on Thursday (March 21) to call on EU leaders "to make love, not Brexit".

Hours before European Union leaders meet in Brussels for two days of talks on Brexit and other topics, the activists' bus dropped the two models outside EU institutions.

Just eight days before Britain is due to leave the EU, May was making a last-ditch plea to the bloc's 27 other leaders to hand her a Brexit delay until June 30, a request she said was "a matter of personal regret" and one she firmly pinned on her country's deeply divided parliament.
