Olivia Attwood: Love Island isn’t to blame

Olivia Attwood: Love Island isn’t to blame The reality TV series has come under fire recently: with people claiming that contestants should be offered better aftercare once the show is over.

The backlash comes after former contestant Mike Thalassitis was recently found dead in a park near his home.

The star apparently committed suicide; but there has not been an official coroner’s report yet.

But Olivia Attwood – who starred on Love Island in 2017- has defended the programme.

She claims that Mike was in “turmoil”, but that this apparently wasn’t caused by the show.

Olivia Attwood, speaking to 'The Sun' She went on to add that she believes the show “saved “ her.

She confessed that before the show she was going through “a really tough time”.
