Britain's Duchess of Cambridge painted her hands and took shelter under branches during a visit to the Scouts' headquarters in London on Thursday (March 28).

Kate, who was a volunteer leader with the Scouts in 2012, joined young children taking part in a pilot scheme aimed to teach scouting under five-year-olds.

"@ UKScouting's pilot scheme for children aged four and five is working to narrow opportunity gaps between disadvantaged young people and their peers, and aid their onwards progress into the wider world," Kensington Palace said on Twitter.

The Duchess also spoke of her hope that eldest child, five-year-old George, will join the Scouts soon, British newspaper Daily Telegraph reported.
