Trump Considers "Secondary Sanctions" On Venezuela

Reuters reports U.S. President Donald Trump is considering imposing further sanctions on Venezuela.

National Security adviser John Bolton told Reuters TV on Friday that they are considering sanctioning companies from other countries that do business with Venezuela, in order to stem revenues to President Nicolas Maduro.

When asked if Trump would consider what are known as “secondary sanctions," Bolton replied, “We’re moving exactly in that direction.
