Oneida softball preparing for state semifinals

The biggest game in program history.

Good evening!

The oneida indians softball team is in uncharted territory - getting ready to play in the program's first state semifinals this weekend.

The team beat waverly last week to capture its first regional title - winning its 21st straight game.

They are ranked second in thsta again in this week's rankings - and willlayin- ranked team on saturday.

With another step in this historical season cominup - we day we've been on the te gauge eir minds as they epare.

Mikeurro: it's kindf very simil a footba week buildp you work all we for one ga and weweot rae can get it monday, late and loose and cday we'vebeen buding a ttle moreut we don't want to fizzle out before the big game comes so today we will focus a little bit more on getting wraps in and it's finally not raining so weif weird some defensive work and some offensive workonoutsidw at it takes and they understanda daunting task and the mental part is gointo be just as big as the physical reilly white: it's still kind of weird took the went there and we did it and that somethihat the owner d a softbl program has never done.

That's the crazy part becse seeingefore so this year nd looking up to them throughout the years, being t tm that to the regional win is crazy.

Emily marshall: the past three years that i've been on the team we haven't come through like we should have in sectionals before so this year has really been different than the other ones.

During the sectionals we've been more determined than scared we're just ready for the next thing and i think that's been the attitude the whole time.
