This window right now, this four days in between, I remember last World Cup in between, I think it was between the Colombia game, we had five days, so it's tough.

But as we get deeper into the tournament, which I hope we do, those days are going to come in handy for rest days.

But that's just the nature of it.

And it might work to our advantage of being really ready and wanting to get going.

If you've got a game every couple of days it might wear on you a bit.

We're definitely ready to go for the next one." STORY: The U.S. women's soccer team is raring to go, veteran forward Carli Lloyd said on Friday (June 14), as they seek to build on the momentum of their historic win over Thailand in the opening game of the competition.

The title holders beat their opponents 13-0 in their game on Tuesday (June 11) -- the widest margin of victory in FIFA World Cup history.

With two days still to go until their game against Chile on Sunday (June 16), Lloyd told a news conference to the west of Paris that the wait could be frustrating.

The U.S. are the most successful team in women's soccer.

They have won three World Cups since the tournament began in 1991, four Olympic golds in the last six Games and have topped the FIFA rankings every year but one over the last 11 years.
