Europe Breaking Temperature Records During Dangerous Heat Wave

A heat wave has settled over Europe, with France breaking its high-temperature record with a scorching 45.9 degrees Celsius.

French and Italian officials have issued a "red alert" weather warning, another first, and other countries have stepped up safety measures.

Many countries have canceled schools, and are making sure water is provided to the homeless and anyone else in need.

Germany, France, Poland, and the Czech Republic have all recorded their highest-ever June temperatures, as well.
