England and New Zealand players voice disbelief at dramatic finale

England and New Zealand's players voiced their astonishment at the dramatic World Cup final on Sunday (July 14) that saw England tie New Zealand in the regular game and the Super Over, winning only through virtue of having more boundaries.

England had looked dead and buried as their innings was drawing to a close before some aggressive batting and freak cases of incredible luck shifted them back into contention.

England opening bowler Chris Woakes said it was the best game he'd ever played in while bowler Jofra Archer said the astonishing win had yet to sink in.

New Zealand batsman couldn't hide his disappointment with the very tight result, knowing the simplest variable would have seen them crowned champions for the first time.
