Partial Lunar Eclipse Spotted Across The Globe

Stargazers from Berlin to Australia were treated to a spectacular partial lunar eclipse on Tuesday evening, into the early hours of Wednesday, as 45 percent of the full moon's face went dark.

The eclipse occurred as the world marked the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission when man took first steps on the moon.

The next partial lunar eclipse is not expected until 19 November 2021.
