The show me hope program is open to people living in 20 missouri counties including jasper.

Crisis counselors set up in the ozark center in joplin to connect residents with local mental health resources.

"you know it's really hard for children that may be displaced because your home may have been impacted by the tornado and you're living in a rental home and now your in a new place and there's another storm that comes and it's really hard to tell is this another tonado or is this just a thunderstorm."

Dowe: all counseling is free and confidential.

The state is applying for six additional counties to be added to the crisis counseling services including mcdonald and newton.
