Hundreds of people gathered in Iowa City on Friday to watch Swedish teenage activist Greta Thunberg speak at a rally to demand that political leaders and institutions take urgent action to combat climate change.

On Friday, Greta Thunberg drew hundreds of thousands to Iowa City to call on politicians to take action to fight climate change, offering a veiled rebuke to world leaders after her speeches at the U.N.
