4, Sia took to Twitter to reveal she is suffering from a number of ailments, including a neurological disease.


Just to clarify, I have a neurological disease AND ehlers danlos.

The singerโ€™s neuralgia was reportedly caused by a โ€œroutine surgeryโ€ she had three years ago.


If you'd like more information it's neuralgia caused by a routine surgery three years ago.

My TSH is also 29, it's supposed to be below 4, so I'm severely hypothyroid.

I'm also taking time off to do intensive therapy on Complex PTSD.

Her other health issue, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, is a group of disorders that affects the bodyโ€™s connective tissues.


According to the National Institute of Health, Ehlers-Danlos affects 1 in 5,000 people worldwide.


The 43-year-old singer went on to encourage those who are also suffering to โ€œkeep going.โ€.

I just wanted to say to those of you suffering from pain, whether physical or emotional, I love you, keep going.

Life is f------ hard.
