Market Wrap: Protestors Take Over Wall Street

Protesters staged a die in outside of the New York Stock Exchange Monday, leading to the arrest of at least 26 people.

Extinction Rebellion organized a "die in" in front of the the NYSE as well as the Wall Street bull statue on Broadway Monday.

Protesters stained themselves, the street and the bull with blood will simulating dying in front of the statue.

At least one protester climbed the bull and was eventually coaxed down by a police officer.

Meanwhile, inside the stock exchange, markets avoided an actual blood bath.

While stocks did decline on the day, they pared losses heading into the close.

The Dow ended the the day down 0.36%, while the Nasdaq and S&P 500 fell 0.33% and 0.45%, respectively.
