Due to potentially high fire danger this week, pg&e is considering another power shutoff from wednesday to thursday.

Impacted areas could include parts of butte and tehama counties.

Pg&e is asking customers to prepare by updating contact information and planning for any medical needs that require power.

### today is the last day you can file a claim against p-g- and-e for the camp fire.

Claims apply to homeowners and renters who lost a home or escaped the fire.

You don't need to bring proof at this time - name and address are the basic requirements.

You also don't have to say how much you're entitled to at the moment.

All claims have to be submitted by 5 p-m today.

The town of paradise will have several camp fir* commemoration events underway leading up to november 8th.

The book in common community kickoff takes place at 4:30 this afternoon on the steps of city hall its the start of a group of events happening in chico over the next couple of months.
