Farage claims Tories are threatening Brexit party candidates
Nigel Farage has claimed that his Brexit Party candidates have received abusive and threatening phone calls from Conservatives asking them not to stand in the upcoming general election.
He added that Number 10 has promised his candidates "jobs and Christmas baubles" if they don't stand.
The Brexit Party leader named Sir Edward Lister, Boris Johnson's Chief Strategic Adviser, as someone who was ringing up candidates and offering them jobs.
He accused No.10 of abusing their power comparing the UK to Venezuela.
