WHITE LOOKING AT CRICKET PITCH STORY: New Zealand Cricket CEO David White personally apologised to English cricketer Jofra Archer on Tuesday (November 26) following reports Archer was subjected to racist insults during his latest match.

The England and New Zealand cricket boards launched probes after the incident on Monday (November 25), day five of the first test at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, which Archer made public on Twitter.

The 24-year-old then took to Twitter to say he found it "a bit disturbing" to hear the racial insults.

White said that his team are currently going over security footage from the match and that the perpetrator could be banned from all future cricket games in New Zealand.

Archer, who was born in Barbados and represented West Indies at Under-19 level, scored 30 runs to delay New Zealand's innings and 65-run victory in the first test on Monday.
