STILL PHOTOGRAPH OF YET-TO-BE-NAMED BABY ORANGUTAN SLEEPING STORY: A newly born Sumatran orangutan made the media debut at Britain's Chester Zoo on Monday (November 25).

The yet-to-be-named male baby was born to 32-year-old mother Subis on November 14, the zoo said.

The video and photographs released by the Zoo show Subis holding her youngster.

Sumatran orangutans are listed as critically endangered by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) with fewer than 14,000 surviving in the wild threatened by hunting and habitat loss because of illegal logging and the palm oil industry.
