Saturday's heavyweight title rematch between Andy Ruiz and Anthony Joshua has been billed the 'Clash on the Dunes' by promoters eager to accept the highly lucrative if also controversial Saudi invitation.

Ruiz and Joshua get set for rematch in Saudi Arabia

Just over six months since their last heavyweight bout at Madison Square Garden in New York City, boxers Andy Ruiz and Anthony Joshua are set to face-off again Saturday night - this time in Saudi Arabia.

It's the first heavyweight world title fight to take place in the Middle East.

Ruiz - who upset the then undefeated champ Anthony Joshua - became the first fighter of Mexican descent to win a heavyweight world title when he knocked out Joshua in the seventh round during their bout on June 1st.

But, Ruiz is still seen as the underdog entering this fight.

He arrived at weigh-in in a sombrero at a staggering 283 pounds - a full 45 pounds heavier than his opponent Joshua - who came in at a stealth 237 pounds.

The huge difference in weight could be a major factor in determining a winner in the rematch.

The fight - which is being billed as the ā€˜Clash on the Dunes' by promoters to highlight the highly lucrative, yet controversial Saudi location - is being held, according to ESPN, at a 15,000-seat open-air stadium constructed over the past six weeks specifically for this event.
