A pilot and two students were killed after their trainer aircraft crashed in central China on Monday (January 13).

The aftermath video shows the remains of the crashed plane on Jianzhu Mountain in Changyang Tujia Autonomous County in Hubei Province.

A man can be heard saying: " I saw one person." According to reports, the trainer aircraft belonged to Hainan Aviation Academy and its wings were frozen when it was flying from Yichang city to Enshi city.

The plane then decided to fly back to Yichang, but it suddenly lost contact with the control tower when it was returning.

A local villager said he heard the unusual noise from the plane when it flew over his house roof, followed by a loud explosion.

Rescuers found the remains on Jianzhu Mountain area.

Two people were found in the plane and one was thrown out.

All three of them were killed.
