EXTERIOR OF PELLEGRINI'S ITALIAN STORY: An Italian restaurant in Australia made a 103 meter (338 foot) Margherita pizza to raise funds for firefighters battling bushfires.

Video obtained by Reuters showed the pizza being rolled out in rectangular, meter-long pieces of dough, pieced together and covered in tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese before being baked in a conveyor oven at Pellegrini's Italian in the southern Sydney suburb of Kirrawee.

The process took four hours and 4000 slices were served to people who donated to the New South Wales Rural Fire Service.
