On Thursday, the legislature reversed some bills the governor vetoed last year.

The legislatorssuccessfully reversed 5 of the8 bills the governor vetoed.They were: The state's DreamAct, now undocumentedimmigrants can get i━ staterates for college tuition.Updating laws effecting stateemployees grievances, allowingsome complaints to be taken tostate administrative judges.revamping the system foroyster harvesting regulations.Not allowing employers to askabout your criminal history onjob applications, called "Banthe Box" and Abolishing theHandgun Permit Review Board.The Handgun Permit ReviewBoard looks at rejectedhandgun permits.

Some thinkthe board has Hogan appointeeson it and they believe are toolenient when handing outhandgun permits.

Stateadministrative judges will nowhear appeals.

Decisionslike that shouldn't be made bypolitical appointees, theyshould be made byadministrative law judges.
