The group said that voter registration numbers in Iowa are suspiciously large.
They claim that total registration numbers for caucuses in eight Iowa countries were larger than the eligible voter population.
According to Reuters, the officials called on the group to end its “misinformation campaign.” The false information received 10,000 shares on Facebook, and 40,000 retweets on Twitter.
