C1 3 b13 good evening and thanks for joining us for 41nbc news at 11:00.

I'm tucker sargent.

Our top story tonight at 11: friends, classmates and co-workers are remembering fort valley college student anitra gunn.

They held a special balloon release tonight in honor of her.

Several city leaders and friends shared memories about the 23-year old fort valley state university senior, who was reported missing on valentine's day.

Crews found her body tuesday in crawford county.

The downtown restaurant eighteen-36 organized the gathering.

Anitra worked there as a server.

Her co-workers say they will never forget her as this homicide investigation continues.

She was a sweet young lady.

She would just light up the room.

Any time you see her with a smile.

She was one of my best servers.

We can only go by facts and not by rumors.

We can't go by what people feel or our own emontions.

We can only let the police do their job and go from there.

The gbi confirms gunn's death is a homicide.

Her cause of death is pending toxicology results.

Her former boyfriend -- demarcus little -- is a person of interest in her death.

He's currently in the peach county jail
