80% of coronavirus deaths in the US so far have been among people 65 and older.
The CDC looked at 4,226 confirmed coronavirus cases as of March 16, reports Business Insider.
Statistically, deaths, ICU admissions, and hospitalization rates are higher among older Americans.
However, this does give a false sense of safety to anyone under the age of 65.
Many of the newest patients in Texas are in their 20's and 30's and are on ventilators.
