Neighbors on a small island in Maine took the COVID-19 quarantine measures into their own hands.

Sheriff's deputies in Vinalhaven were called after a man found a downed tree blocking his driveway.

The police said that while the homeowner was investigating, a neighbor started yelling and a group of people showed up.

The Knox County sheriff's office report that the man told officials several neighbors displayed guns.

The man and 2 roommates believe the neighbors cut the tree down in an attempt to force them to stay home.

The Knox County Sheriff's office said locals wanted their neighbors to self-isolate after visiting the mainland.

According to Business Insider, the man and two roommates had already been living on the island for at least a month.
