This tennis facility is home to many players in the st.

Joseph area and because of the coronavirus pandemic it is now empty and for Eric Thacker the owner and Lee tennis instructor he is having to navigate the crisis I think the biggest challenge of all this is you're not prepared for it you know there are certain things you do prepare for one of the things you don't prepare for is a respiratory illness to shut you down you know so there's definitely some some hardships there you talk to your clientele you see keep them abreast of the situation and make sure you kind of keep things rolling once you're cleared to go this is a tough time for everyone and in the Sports World there aren't many instances where major adjustments have to be made or that everything is put on hold the two closest scenarios I can think of or in the sports industry anyway or injury you know when you're out for a while or you know during 11 and that was there just a time of uncertainty you know and I think that's kind of where we are again very uncertain about what next week is going to bring what tomorrow is going to bring and I think we have to just work through those because of the high demand of his Services doctor said that he's doing okay financially but does want to get back to a regular routine he's been communicating to his players to stay focused because once the all-clear is given it's time to get back to work getting back to normalcy a lot different right now keeping in mind what we're working towards what the future holds for them you know whether it's the High School tennis season or tournaments through the USTA and we'll just continue to work towards his goals
