STOP MOTION VIDEO OF THOMAS CERVETTI WITH A SURFBOARD, APPEARING TO 'SKATEBOARD ALONG ROAD', PIECES OF FABRICS LAID ON FLOOR TO DEPICT WAVES OF THE OCEAN AND CERVETTI SURFING STORY: A French student living in Malaysia found a unique way to "surf" in his Kuala Lumpur apartment while restrictions on movement were in place to control the spread of the coronavirus.

Using a stop motion animation technique, Thomas Cervetti used his surfboard and pieces of fabric laid on the floor to mimic surfing the waves of the ocean.

Cervetti told Reuters the video took four days to shoot and was made for the World Surf League's "home break challenge" which encourages avid surfers to create the illusion of surfing, from home.

"I got the chance to surf incredible places in South East Asia but I am also shocked by the plastic pollution.

That's why I am picking up trash at the end of the video," Cervetti said.
