Amazon Launches New $90 Fire Tablet

Amazon Launches New $90 Fire Tablet The e-commerce giant announced two new Fire tablet models that will range from $89.99 to $109.99.

The entry-level model, the Fire HD 8, will come with a faster processor than before and 32 GB of storage.

The upgraded model, the Fire HD Plus, has more RAM and comes with a six-month subscription to Kindle Unlimited.

The new models come as much of the world’s population remains on lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Amazon's strategy is to sell the tablets for a lower price and then make money off of consumers buying digital content from its website while stuck at home.

The new Fire tablets will begin shipping on June 3.
