A 1,000+ point scorer, the third highest scorer in Mt.

Markham boys basketball history will stay a 'Mustang' as he is set to suit up at the NCAA Division III level for SUNY Morrisville.

During his college basketball career.

Mount markham's eddie king is heading to suny morrisville to play hoops at the division three level.

King played three years on varsity for the mustangs where he finished third on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,123 points.

In 62 games played in high school - he averaged over 18 points - six rebounds and three assists per game.

In his senior year - he averaged over 20 points per game - lifting him over the 1,000 points mark.

A three-time c-s-c division three first team all star - king was also a class b all-state honorable mention - all mohawk valley all star and a c-n-y hoops talk tier one team member.

In addition - he played football for mount markham where he was the team's quarterback and played safety.

He was first team all-section on defense - a mustangs' team captain and team m- v-p with four rushing and five passing touchdowns this past year.

An n-f-f scholar athlete - he is a member of national honor society with a g-p-a over 90.

He plans on studying something in the medical field.
