I spoke with adama hillman-- the associate superintendent at the office of education in shasta county.

He tells me school districts will get hit hard with these cuts - possibly losing 30-million dollars loss across 25 districts and even charter schools.

It's a significant impact, most of the school district budgets fund employees costs, it's certainly going to have an effect here locally hillman also says school districts could see a delay in cash flow from the state.

Hillmen says this isn't the first time something like this happenedãthe state took similar action during the 2008 recession.
