Dr. Deborah Birx, the White House coronavirus task force coordinator, on Friday said she wants people to 'be outside and enjoy' Memorial Day weekend, while also social distancing.
Birx warned that there are people with COVID-19 that appear healthy but said it was still fine to go outside and enjoy your weekend.
"You can go to the beaches if you stay stay six feet apart, but remember that that is your space and that's a space that you need to protect and ensure that you've social distanced for others," Birx said.
