The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention made a statement about pregnant women and COVID-19.
They said pregnant women infected with COVID-19 are more likely to require hospitalization and ventilator support.
The CDC analysis found that 32% of pregnant women were hospitalized because of COVID-19.
Agency officials admitted the higher hospitalization rate might be due to concerns over a pregnant woman’s health.
