"*man player pool.xxx it's been kind of a mixed emotion of things where you know the past four months i've just been constantly working out and hitting and taking ground balls and stuff and not knowing what's going to be next so it's been tough mentally for sure.

Now... bryce ball can relax.

Yesterday he celebrated his birthday by getting back on the baseball field... and finding himself added to the braves 60?

My role is just kind of to be active and you know be around some coaches and get to workout and stuff like that.

While ball is uncertain about what the future may hold.... his former baseball coach at niacc... travis hergert who now works for the phillies... sees him as a great fit for the atlanta lineup.

Obviously he's got extreme power and i think for him just making an impact as the pure hitter that he is and you knokw he's proven it at several levels already in his first year of pro ball.

I know he made an impact even in spring training so he knows what he needs to do and he's definitely made for it.

While ball will continue to work tirelessly to prove to the braves coaching staff that he is a good fit for the lineup... he says he realizes how fortunate he is to have made it to this point in his career.

I'm just happy to be around all of these guys, it means a lot.
