Taxi driver halts as wild Siberian tiger patrols Chinese motorway

A taxi driver came across a wild Siberian tiger on a motorway and dared not to move in northeast China.

In the footage captured in Jilin province, a passenger suddenly screamed when they saw a tiger patrolling in the middle of the road.

The tiger’s head is as big as a washbasin and it seemed to weigh about four to five hundred pounds.

The tiger looked at the driver and passengers for a long time, maybe 15 to 20 minutes.

Both the car and the tiger did not move.

And then the tiger laid down.

The taxi driver stopped the engine and dared not to move.

The driver and the other three passengers were very scared.

The wild animal then jumped over the roadside guardrail and ran away when a car was coming from the other direction.

The video was filmed on July 17 and provided by local media.
