Two pet Jack Russells enjoyed swimming in a flooded alley after storm Sinlaku rainstorms hit the region.

Manus Chiya recorded his cute dogs named Meetung and Aonsin paddling in high-knee water from several hours of rain in Chiang Mai, northern Thailand on August 4.

The cute mutts were seen trying to swim across the road, making way through water using their little paws.

Manus said: "Meetung and Aomsin might be the happiest little duo during this hard time." The Thai Meteorological Department put heavy rain and flash-flood warnings in force until with rain expected throughout the week.

Two people were killed in Thailand when their homes were inundated with flood water.

Sinlaku also hit Laos and Vietnam, where it killed another two people on Sunday in the provinces of Hoa Binh and Quang Ninh.

The Vietnam Disaster Management Authority feared the heavy rains could cause landslides and flash flooding in the country's northern mountainous provinces where up to 400mm of rainfall is predicted.
