Following continuous rainfall, a massive mudslide occurred in northern India's Himachal Pradesh that left a village inundated while a connecting road and a bridge was damaged in the area.

The incident took place near Akpa bridge of Rispa village of Kinnaur district on August 11 while the visuals were shot on August 12.

Reports suggest the Sutlej river water level rose midnight and flooded the entire area destroying an apple orchard and completely inundating a road nearby.

The flash flood also took down a bridge that was being constructed across the river.

The video shows a massive chunk of land crashing down and flowing like a river along the valley.

Several cracks appeared on the road nearby due to the landslides in the region.

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted moderate rainfall in neighbouring states.

Panic gripped the locals in the surrounding area due to the incident.

However, there were no casualties reported.
