We're just one day away from another episode of friday night fever.

The game of the week is showcasing two one and one teams, the pontotoc warriors and the houston hilltoppers.

In today's scouting report with matt st.

Jean, he visits with the pontotoc warriors as they prepare for senior night.

The last time the pontotoc warriors were on their home field was week one against the new albany bulldogs.

One of the best games of the season by far a huge comeback and a huge win for the pontotoc warriors.

However, they followed up that win with a loss last week against desoto central and now they're looking to bounce back in week 3.

(colton hillhouse) it was nice being out there on our home field and having that crowd out there, you know it wasn't as big as it normally has been and it's just a great feeling whenever we got that win over them.

(track) down by 20 points to rival new albany.

The warriors clawed their way back to win.

For head coach jeff carter, it was no surprise.

He's got 11 seniors that he's seen grow up right before his eyes, which makes senior night tomorrow night even more special.

(jeff carter) some of em you thought when they started out, it was like i don't know if they going to make it.

But then you see that hey, they stay with it, they stay with the program, they got bigger they got faster stronger and of course they matured.

(track) for senior caleb goodwin, it's not just about playing football for the warriors, but what his coaches and teammates have tought him off the field.

(caleb) they, all the coaches, all the players they mean a lot to me.

It's teached me how to be a young man and how to be outside of school outside of football (as live tag) friday night fever will return for week three tomorrow night our game of the week, pontotoc hosting houston.

Two one and one teams looking to get above 500 and get their seasons back on track.
