Parke Heritage receiver leads state in receiving yards per game

Welcome back... the last two weeks of the indiana high school football regular season are big for south vermillion... the wildcats control their own destiny in the wrc.....they beat seeger this friday and attica next week and they are conference champs.... south vermillion has only won the wrc once since 1981, they were co-champs in 2017.... the six and one wildcats know conference titles have been few and far between for this program and they are hungry to bring one home this season.

We have a change to the friday football schedule.....cloverdale had to cancel their game at west vigo because the clovers are low on players because of injuries... riverton parke had to cancel their game with parke heritage due to be being quarantine..... so 1a parke heritage will now play at 3a west vigo friday in what should be a really good game... when the vikings face the seventh-ranked wolves they're going to have to deal with one of the state's top wide receivers in noble johnson... the junior leads the state in receiving yards per game at over 161 per contest.... this season johnson has 53 catches, for 970 yards and 11 td receptions....his head coach brian moore believes johnson is as good as receiver has anyone around.
