In lexington put up tents today so they can keep customers... while following new orders to stop seating people indoors.

Other restaurants have already had tents up for a while.

But we've seen some of you wondering...how is a tent different than sitting inside?

Abc 36's bobbi mcswine spoke to one restaurant manager who explains.

####### bobbi: "manager rita kraynak here at coles 735 main says she feels lucky to have space for a tent like this."

Rita: "that was probably the best thing that we could have done for us."

Kraynak says the tent went up in july...and people loved it.

"really people had requested that more than they had inside previous to the shutdown again."

She says the gazebo...which has always been apart of the restaurant...is now semi-enclosed.

"we've really created kinda a cozy environment for what we can, especially since the second shutdown has closed our inside."

The changes...all in effort to comply with governor andy beshear's new mandate...which eliminates indoor seating...only allowing for delivery...curbside.

..and outdoor seating.

But how are tents different than being indoors?

"the top of our gazebo is actually open - it is enclosed so rain isn't there, but we do have a little roof and overlay on that."

Kraynak also says the curtains in the gazebo are unzipped halfway...allowing air to flow.

The tent is completely open on one side...both armed with heaters.

"there is a little bit of a draft at your ankles, but i think for what its worth, if you're willing to come out and dine out it really is quite a cozy environment.

Maybe just bring an extra jacket or something."

John corn...out to dinner with his wife friday night...says he feels safe...and appreciates all the effort restaurants have made.

He urges everyone to give their support.

John: "we've been through this once.

We'll make it through again, and wish them all the best of luck."

Kraynak says the restaurant...and others...will need all the support they can get...especially with colder weather.

"we're all in it together.

We we all get through it together."
