Serious collision - A361 Barnstaple

At approximately 1123 hours on Wednesday 22^nd July 2020, Devon and Cornwall Police received a call stating that there had been a two vehicle Road Traffic Collision on the A361 on NEW TAW BRIDGE in BARNSTAPLE.  An 84 year old female passenger, local to the Bideford area, had received potentially serious injuries following the collision. She was taken to North Devon District hospital where she is being assessed.

Local Police Officers and Specialist officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the scene, closed the road and launched a full forensic examination.

Police are requesting that any witnesses with any information and or dash camera footage are to please come forward, unless they have already been in contact with officers at the scene.

The Police Incident Number is 331 dated 22^nd July 2020.
