Road traffic collision, Port Isaac

At around 9.15am on Friday 25 September, police were informed of a road traffic collision in Station Road, Port Gaverne, Port Isaac, involving a silver Toyota and a male pedestrian.

The pedestrian casualty was flown to Derriford Hospital by the Cornwall Air Ambulance with what was believed to be serious head injuries.

Officers from the Devon and Cornwall’s Alliance Roads Policing Team and response officers attended along with a Forensic Collision Investigator and Scene of Crime Officer.

A full investigation of the scene took place. After being assessed at hospital, the injuries were not deemed life-changing or life-threatening.

Police would like to thank the public for their patience while they investigated the scene.
