Fatal road collision Kingsteignton

At approximately 15:29 hours on Friday 02^nd October 2020, Emergency Services were notified of a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a black Mercedes Vito on Newton Road, Kingsteignton.


South West Ambulance Services and Devon and Cornwall Police attended the incident. A 91 year old pedestrian was taken to Derriford Hospital with life threatening injuries, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries. Newton Road was closed for approximately 3 and half hours to allow for an examination of the scene, and recovery of a vehicle. 


Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for any witnesses of the incident to come forward quoting log 519 Friday 02^nd October 2020.
