Millions of workers given £450 payslip boost after rule-change this week

The starting rate for National Insurance is set to be cut from Saturday, April 6 2024 and Chancellor Jeremy Hunt said the move would benefit 27million workers and would give the average person earning £35,000 a year an extra £450.
